Tradiban Redacted?

M Awrote: I'm good with folks who don't lament the ban. And I am okay with pointing out why they don't lament. No problem. Interesting phrase though: hit over the head for 12 page with Tradiban's nuggets of truth. I imagine some see it just as that and others don't. |

Bill Lawrywrote: Tradi was more interested in getting reactions from people than he was in truth. His game plan reveals his motivations: he would consistently make seemingly sincere points to start engagement and then get increasingly hyperbolic with time to see how far he could take it before people caught on and stopped engaging with him. That isn't the MO of someone interested in truth. If ever there was an element of truth its primary purpose was to act as a disguise and make him appear sincere before he went batshit bananas about four posts later. Btw, y'all are still going on about all this huh? Have fun, I'm going climbing. |

Truth is a barrier to interesting conversations with different points of view. It would be a reasonable focus if this were a cookie cutter world. Thankfully it is not. Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance |

Not Not MP Adminwrote: Definitely maybe. Health is starting to do better, climbing more, wasting time on the proj less. Buddy and I put up a 40m 5.8 hand and fist crack today with a super fun roof. Put it up ground up a couple weeks ago and put in rap bolts, cleaned it and did the FFA today (that roof was pretty intimidating to punters like us on the FA, didn't get it clean first go. Also it was horrifically dirty and we only found good feet after much scrubbing. Let's blame that one). Now that I can do this sort of day regularly again I'll be not using the proj as a way to pass the day as I do when my health is doing poorly, but will stick to posting when I think I have something to say which people might value. Like, cheers, eh? |

That Yury! What a card. I'm in stitches. |

control freak:a person who feels an obsessive need to exercise control over … others and to take command of any situation. When the means are available to literally ignore someone’s post, but one still cheer’s on a lame ban - the definition fits? I don't know. It's just surprising me, Tim and others. |

What a fun thread. And productive! |
