Split Sizes
|
Does anyone know of any brands that sell split sizes?? I was told Tenaya, but I see no way to order them on their website. Anyone know the cost? |

acopa is the answer for split size pairs. the process of sizing your split and the customer service is unmatched, not to mention the JBs climb pretty dang well |

Second for Acopa! Great shoes, I love my legends. |

Interesting. Never heard of Acopa. |

Turns out Tenaya DOES do split sizes. It’s crazy expensive though. |

I have two full size different, big ass feet. I looked into Tenaya, they are expensive with shipping, not to mention, every email to customer service took them 2-3 weeks to respond to one question in an email that had several. I have since fully jumped on the Acopa train. The ability to split-size at no additional cost except for the extra time for them to make your shoes is awesome. Can not say enough good things about these guys. My JB’s are sick, and the Nova is such a great shoe, I’ve been dinking around with writing up a long review on the Nova for this forum but have been too busy. |

What Acopa shoes are best suited to bouldering? How do they fit overall? I have a wider forefoot and narrow heel. |

Jeremiah B wrote: Nova and Gama. Gama is one of the best bang for buck shoes you can find that I know of. Acopa has built most of their shoes to cater to wide-footed folk from what I can tell. I have a D width forefoot (so normal) and narrow heel. For me the Nova was perfect. The Gama, I was told, is built on the same last as the Merlin which caters more to someone with wider feet but still seems to accommodate a narrow heel. I don’t really know as I haven’t tried the Gama since the Nova ended up fitting me perfect, so I just asked their customer service dude about it.

Butora may still do it. At one point they did it for a $25 fee. Order direct and would likely have to call or email to figure it out |

I asked Butora earlier in the year and they do not anymore. I second Acopa. Been climbing in my split size JBs for about a month now. Great shoes and great customer service. |
