I met him around 2013 a few times, processing image data for a big photography project (GlacierWorks). We had octopus at a hole in the wall in Portland which he raved about.

Charming, kind, nutty. Of course a bit nutty, how could he not be, but overall so fun and satisfying to work with.

A bit of a mindf*ck that he's gone, RIP.
