I've inherited my step dads harnesses, carabiners, and descenders. His gear along with some of mine I'd like to sell. I don't have anyone to go with now without him. My attention and interest are not there right now. What is the best way I should go about selling this gear safely for good price.

Sorry for your loss. Most soft goods are hard to sell even if they arnt used because there are took many variables as the purchaser. I usually sell/list things 1-5% off per year from the purchase date. So a $100 cam purchased in 1994 would be $60-20 depending on condition. Hope this is helpful. Let me know if are selling aid gear! Would love to aquire More for this season.
