Near Me not showing any crags
|
I tried the near me feature this morning and it wasn't showing any crags around the Albuquerque area. If I zoom out to all of New Mexico then they start showing up again.

You need to download the area to your phone for it to show up. You have Colorado downloaded but not New Mexico. |
|
I have most of the SW downloaded including New Mexico. I’ll try updating the areas. |

Updating fixed it. Thanks! |

This has been happening to me too, and the areas in question do not have updates available. For example, I climbed in the San Diego area last weekend, and Joshua Tree the weekend before, and those two areas don’t show up on the map, but surrounding areas do. |

Hey Michael, Are you using an Android? We've discovered an issue with those area bubbles for Android and this sounds related. |

My map on Android only shows downloaded areas. Nothing else is showing. Empty map. It used to show everything without having to download areas. Any ideas on how to fix this? |

Zander, thanks for the confirmation. Is there a solution? Is anyone trying to fix the stupidity? |

Edit to add: My post above on 6/26/23 wasn't referring to a bug. The mobile apps only show content for manually downloaded areas by design. If you want to do a more general search, I'd recommend using the Route Guide on the website or you can scan the Climbing Map at the bottom of the web homepage. |
