Stolen Sport Climbing Bag - Reno

Hi there - this is a long shot, but I had my partner and my sport climbing bag stolen from our car on Sunday night in Reno. If anyone hears anything could you please contact me? I have lost my rope, 2 harness, 2 pairs of tc pros, 13 draws, etc etc.

Thats very nice! I spent the day in Owen's River Gorge Saturday and it was freakin fantastic. 

Hey Trevor, that’s a bummer. Did your car get broken into or was it left unlocked? I’m curious because I’m about to move to Reno and will be living out of my truck that will undoubtedly have climbing gear in it a lot of the time even if I get a storage unit. 

The hotel Trevor was staying at is a cool spot with really good tacos and drinks but also probably the dead center of the homeless community in Reno (which is very tame compared to any other west coast city).  Definitely not a zone I’d feel comfortable leaving anything in the car.  

Trevor, it sounds like you are already in Bishop but if you are in Reno and need some draws just let me know.

Hey Nic, the car was locked and the window was smashed overnight.

Fan, this is so generous of you. I am already back in New York! Hopefully insurance comes through so we can get some gear replaced.

I would also like to second this! The hotel was great. The owner has also offered to send me some funds to help replace the gear. She was really apologetic and wanted to help as much as she could.
