Wondering if anyone's used these and how've they held up?

I have a pair of UP moccs, Up Lace, and Newtros. They are all holding up well. The quality has been good.

I have a pair. They're pretty soft with quite a thin sole so I don't expect them to last for ages. The rubber is great, and the fit is perfect for me (wide flat feet) so I'll take that compromise.

Climbing wise, the UP Rock Guides are the best approach shoes I’ve used. They do not hold up well though, and the stitching around the edge of the shoe wore quickly as did the sole, after about six weeks and maybe 20 days of use. I returned them under warranty, and UP gave me a full refund.

As mentioned above the shoes fit wide feet, and are undoubtably the most comfortable approach shoes I’ve had. I might buy another pair and will be sure to apply glue on top of the stitching before I start using them. The rubber is exceptional and I’m astounded at how well these shoes climb slab.

I was crushed when the venerable 5.10 Guide Tennies were discontinued. As my favorite approach shoes for more than a decade, I valued them for their solid climbing and trail running performance, especially for slab climbs in the Flatirons. I'm happy to report that the Unparallel Rock Guides fit and perform almost identically to the old tennies, and while I can't speak to their durability, I expect to sacrifice at least some longevity for the sake of performance. If you loved the Guide Tennies as much as I did, though, do yourself a favor and try a pair of Rock Guides. I just bought a backup pair!

I ordered them on the website and they never arrived, And said that they never even had the materials to make them, after I had waited three months. Maybe that’s just a unique experience though.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
