Moving to Sedona this week, looking for trad partners!

I'm moving out to Sedona later this week from the east coast and am hoping to find some good folks to climb with. I've been living in Savannah GA for the past year, and so I haven't touched rock in quite a while, but I do have lots of experience climbing, mostly in Western NC. My climbing goals are to hit up the most fun, classic, and/or scenic multipitch trad routes in the area. As I haven't climbed in a while I'm guessing I won't be looking to push much past the 5.10 range, at least for the time being.

Consistently have tues/thurs off through the end of the year and love sedona. Have done quite a few of the classic 5.9-5.10 pitch routes. Just breaking into .10+/11 trad in general so id love to go keep it mellow just to be out there. Gotta do a mormon canyon mission for touched by an angel and earth angel, best .9+/10 ive done in AZ! Sedona 5.10 has a lot of sand though

I’m always looking for weekend partners for the Waterfall or Paradise Forks. Looking to climb this Sunday; if anyone is interested, send me a DM!

Welcome to northern Arizona, Kyle.

To you and other posters:

I’m also looking for 5.8-5.10 multipitch trad partners, and of course local crags on shorter days. I live in Flagstaff with a flexible schedule within 2-3 days notice, and plan to spend a lot of time in Sedona this winter. I’m safe and mellow, have tons of gear, and can adapt to most people’s schedules; but, I’m focused on local partners building a long-term community. Message with a day to climb if you’re interested.

Cheers,

Jason

I'm in Sedona Nov 19 - Dec 22 too, looking to jump on moderates, 8's, 9's, 10's. I can bring gear. Also wouldn't mind mixing in some sport climbs on shorter days or even some mountain biking to mix it up.
