Is climbtech dead? Just got an email they are being bought by some company Werner. Anyways, where do people get cheap hangers these days? |

Oh, I must have had that mixed up! That is good news in my eyes. |

Does anyone have a source for 3/8” SS quicklinks? And maybe SS rings? It seems like the usual places are out of stock. |

$8 Metolius hangers. Might be able to get more off with a coupon code too. YMMV. |

Mr Rogers wrote: Agreed but then again, Metolius SS hangers have been extra pricey for some time. Oddness since in many cases this is 3 times what a comparable high quality SS hanger runs. Maybe 2 times with todays pricing;-) Still…$8 for a hanger is mental. |

You can get the US Anchors / PRO-ferred (A Brighton Best International brand) 3/8 x 3 Ultrawedge in 304 stainless for about $1.50 each at Bolt & Nut Supply Co in SLC or Ogden, UT. Combined with Bonaire 304 hangers from James Garrett (also available at the Gear Room), you are at about $4.50 per bolt. Less if you use the pingo hangers. (Personally i prefer tge bigger hole on the SimPles hangers over the pingo). Heres the comparison sheet between the ultrawedge ans other common anchors. But the ECC certification data sheet is a bit more confusing than the specs on the side of a box of dewalts. https://www.brightonbest.com/download/ICC/Ultrawedge_Plus_Competitive_Comparisons.pdf Manufacturer catalog with ICC-ES info https://www.brightonbest.com/download/catalogs/usa/BBI_proferred_us_anchor_catalog.pdf They have kind of a long strike cone on the end but it protects against munching up threads during installation. They place well on lead. 1st pic shows different hangers from L-R Bonaire Dupla, Bonaire PinGo, Bonaire SimPles, Petzl Coeur, Metolius |
