I'm a big fan. They are lightweight and smooth. Not that the rough/ sharp edges on other hangers have ever caused me problems, but I appreciate the craftsmanship of the Dracos.

Yes. I second what Shelton said.

Agreed, and I like the size of them compared to other hangers. Here’s a metolius next to a draco

I think these are the lowest profile hanger on the market. I like them also. Same design was made by Lucky a while back.

I was wondering what ”Lucky” was.  I pulled a couple of them at Hidden Valley.

Tim, that's mostly what we used over on the NF of Rumbly years ago, and painted, you practically needed a metal detector to find them!

Definitely my favorite hangers.

Not arguing one side or the other, but “low profile” gets you 25 kN, and the beefy Fixe hanger gets you 40 kN.

True. But that’s a moot point for me since most aluminum carabiners aren’t rated above 25kn or so

I really liked those Lucky hangers. Never used the Eldridge ones though. Lucky was a good company. I still have a ton of their specialized pitons they used to make.

If you compare the same 3/8" SS 304 hangers Fixe hangers are 30KN not 40KN.  https://fixehardware.com/index.php/fixe-304-ss-3-8-bolt-hanger.html So the difference is 5KN and Fixe hangers ding the hell out of your biners when you fall on them.

Yeah I don't think Fixe has marked their hangers 40 kn for a long time.

Haven’t seen any Lucky bolt hangers before but I have maybe half a dozen of their pitons (mainly some narrow kb type and a pair of shallow angles).  They’re pretty unique compared to standard pins, quite petite which makes them light weight.  Would really like to find more of the shallow angles.  When did they go out of business or quit importing to the US?

Spanish company bought by Vaude in 1999.

Seems that Vaude bought a number of other companies.  I believe they bought Markill the German company who made the Stormy hanging stoves.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
