Is tomorrow's weather forecast too cold to climb on Mt Evans?

A friend and I were planning to climb Rainbow Highway on Mt Evans tomorrow, but this is the forecast shows essentially a high of 41F, low wind, and very low chance of rain at the peak, and a high of 54F mid mountain (a little lower than the base of the climb).

I know black wall is in the sun from 8am - 2pm or so, and I was wondering if low 40s are temperatures worth committing a full alpine day to. I know it CAN be done, but I'm wondering to what degree of misery we'd be signing up for, in your opinion. I also know it's hard to know in advance and forecasts are not always accurate, so I'm just trying to know if other's would be comfortable climbing in the projected weather.

This might be a good time for you to head out there and and see what you can tolerate. Then you’ll know for future trips. Everyone’s cold tolerance is different. If you ask this Q to 5 different people you’d prob get a few different responses.

For the record, it WAS a warm temp, as Giraud said it would be. Perfect weather, actually. T-shirt weather while in the sun until 1pm, and then when the clouds rolled in and later when the sun when behind the formation, we had to put on a jacket. I can't believe we almost didn't make it out because of the forecast! I will use this experience to inform my decisions in the future, including sun vs. shade, wind projections, and forecasted temps!
