Just moved to Tucson and would love a used copy of a Lemmon guidebook. They're insanely expensive on Amazon. Anyone have one they want to part with?

There is relatively good coverage on MP for Mt Lemmon, that being said there are some areas that the book does a much better job of organizing - or when topos are more clear than online resources. Rumors of an updated version have been around for some time and the current version is no longer in print. I would be happy to lend my copy to a new tucson climber for a while. I do still reference the book regularly and would eventually like it back. There is also a 'store copy' at the local gym (and maybe at summit hut?) if you want to look at a crag or area before heading out. Eventually you will have friends that have at least one copy per group.

I don't want to inconvenience you by borrowing yours and having you need it, so I'll probably look at the copies at the gym and take a few photos of areas I'd like to visit first. Do you know if Rocks and Ropes has one?

Indeed it does rocks and ropes has that and other S AZ books. Feel free to reach out again if you want to borrow it for a few weeks for getting used to the area. You may also have better luck on the Tucson climbing page on facebook or doing an old fashioned flyer in the gym.

I found a copy of Squeezing the Lemon III for $75 (not sure what is considered "insane" for a used guidebook).
