I have climbed a fair bit in the canyon. If I lived there I’d meet up with you. But my advice- enjoy the bouldering, top rope at Indian Springs. But PDC is perhaps the worst place to learn to trad climb. The routes are objectively bad, dangerous, sandy, and it’s too hot. Most roped climbing there happens on top rope for good reason. And even that is not really worth it. And all this coming from someone who actually likes climbing there! (But mostly for nostalgic reasons)

The bouldering is actually pretty fun though and definitely the star of the show.

Feel free to pm me if you have specific questions. I might just be helpful
