Link to browser equivalent page from app

The app doesn’t contain all the info about an area or route. It would be nice to have a link inside the app that takes you to the web/browser version of the same data. For example, I’m researching a route today which has no tick information listed on the app page. I’d like to click a link in the app to view the ticks on the route’s page in the browser.

Thanks, Anna. This is a great suggestion for any content that continues to not be shown in the app. I've recorded it for consideration. Of course there's a balance, but ideally the app would show the most useful information needed at the crag.

Yeah if a route doesn't show recent ticks in the app but does on the web, does that point to a data corruption or just too many ticks?  Also this year something new is I'll click on view ticks and it'll be blank. Close and click it again and ticks will show.

I've made sure downloaded area is up to date. I've removed and reinstalled the app and still happens.

Agree a web link would be nice.

Checking on how/when ticks are updated to the app. New content is pushed to the app at the end of each week so my assumption is new ticks would be included in that as well, but I'm seeing examples that don't support that assumption. Thanks for bringing it up, I'll follow up ASAP.

Do you have any examples of routes that show a blank View Ticks page in the app? That would be very helpful.

I have a similar problem with ticks not loading properly in the app (despite reloading areas, reinstalling the app, etc). For example, when I go to View Ticks on the climb Persistent Vegetative State, it shows the most recent tick in the app as Oct 15, 2017.

Zander,

Some routes show tick details on the app page, while others do not. Do you know why?

Persistent Vegetative State is a great example, thanks for flagging that Garrett.

Anna, I do not know but suspect it is either a datapack or API issue. More to come!

This is a route that does not have ticks linked in the iPhone app:

Android app only shows ticks up to 2019 for me.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
