I don't think A V quite understands how sandbagging works...

So if it’s actually an 11c (in your opinion) but consensus calls it a 12a then that would be the exact opposite of sandbagging….like I said, I’m not quite sure you understand how sandbagging works.

Sandbagging would be if it’s actually 12a (in your opinion) and consensus called it 11c.

I agree that not using a rest (if it’s on route and “obvious”) is dumb. My guess is if it is an obvious rest then the grade will eventual settle in to whatever it is with that rest, given local ethics aren’t super weird like sport climbing in Texas. This route is similiar to ‘Paradise Lost’ at the Red (which was 13c, I believe, until people started using the “obvious” no hands which yielded a consensus grade of 13a).

A V it’s either 12a the “real” way or 11c the “soft” way. Neither make it sandbagged. Consensus says 12a so far though so if it’s graded 12a and you think it’s 11c then I’m not sure sure how that equates to a sandbag….P.S. I’m honored to think that you have somehow kept track of all of our conversations. Clearly you care more than I. 

Can we move this back to the Tangerine, Wave Wall?

Why though? Moving a discussion/argument/debate regarding literally one single route to a regional forum makes zero sense Lol 

There’s also absolutely zero context to this now, and is just two idiots bickering online (myself being one of them). At least link the route to create some semblance of logic to this move.
