I'm in the market for a new car and ground clearance is one of my factors. I want the car to be able to get me through most unpaved roads and one spot I know requires AWD/good clearance are the Saddle Boulders in Tahoe. I feel like that's a general test for a heinous approach. Looking for feedback on what car has gotten you through the road? Cars I'm currently considering have all wheel drive and ground clearance ranging from 8.1 to 8.7 to 9.2 inches. Any info helps thanks!

As of right now, the road is washed out at the tunnel to the Saddle Boulders. It would require a serious off-road vehicle to drive there.
I've seen Subarus make it but you probably want a truck. No idea what my stock Tacoma clearance is but it hasn't had a problem with any of the dirt roads around Tahoe.
