I'm out by Arcata, but am thinking of hitting up Cosmic Wall, Six Toe, and other climbs in Castle Crags. Can anyone help me out with a condition report?

Most (if not all) of the mountain routes in my neck of the woods are still snowed in, and likely inaccessible until at least June.

Thanks in advance.

Haven’t been up there, but it’s in my sights for a visit soon. Probably some patchy snow in shade above 5k feet now but melting out quickly as it warms again late this coming week. I imagine trails and routes are all almost completely clear now, but subscribing for updates from anyone that’s ventured closer…

I’m sure the Crags are clear. Once the sun comes out it’ll be dry

Check with Shasta Mtn Guides.

It was clear a couple weeks ago before this last round of storms. I’m sure by Thursday it will be ok. Some patchy snow up high still.
