Sandrock

I’m sure most southern climber, especially in Alabama and bordering states, knows Sandrock and little river canyon. I’m a sport climber and have been once, I was wondering what the best routes are in the area? Specifically if there are any sport routes following a crack as I’d like to practice my crack climbing technique. |

Probably not. Crack routes are rightfully gear routes and any bolted ones have mostly been restored. That being said, you can top rope most of them if you aren't leading on gear. |

Okay thank you!! And I know I wish I could do trad, cracks rightfully belong to trad |

Best cracks near sandrock are at t wall, Jamestown, and sunset, not a lot of actual crack skills are needed at sandrock |

thank you! I've heard t-wall is good, looking forward to going there soon hopefully. |

Okay thank you!! I’ll have to find a trad partner then who knows what they’re doing, I have no experience and no gear, other than a set of nuts. |
