Climbing in Denver Area Mid-May

Howdy! I'm currently driving around the US for a few months connecting with friends, hiking, laying around in hot springs, and climbing. I'm going to be in the Denver area in mid-May and I would love to find some climbing partners. It could be fun to get a nice little crew of women together to climb in the flatirons, though I am certainly open to other locations. Honestly, I'm just happy to be outside.

About me: I'm from the East Coast originally and although I've spent a lot of time living in Texas, I'm told I have an East Coast sense of humor. I'm also pretty intrepid and not deterred by a gnarly approach. My ticks on this site are not up to date but I have experience sport climbing 5.9+ and 5.10 routes (lead and TR respectively). I have solid lead belay skills and I'm happy to give you a catch on something harder than that. I recently got a taste of multi-pitch climbing in Nevada and I am very excited to do more and learn new types of climbing. What I lack in technical experience, I make up for in genuine zest and willingness to carry heavy stuff up hills.

I may not be climbing 5.13s but if you're looking for a laid-back climber pal, I'm your gal!

I'd be psyched to join this crew of women. I have a lot of experience with all varieties of climbing and know the area very well.

I'd love to join too! I just moved to the area. I am originally from Lake Tahoe and have been climbing since I was little and have been climbing trad for a few years. Haven't had a chance to check out the climbing near Denver and would love to climb the area with a fun group of people.

When in mid-May? I'll be there May 5-13 and am starting to look for climbing partners.

Rachel, I may be arriving in CO on the 13th or after but I'm thinking of getting a WhatsApp chat together or something similar. You could definitely hop in and connect with folks to climb with. I can send you a link once I get that going if you are interested!

Hi there just saw this!!! I’m heading back to Colorado (home ) after a 3 month travel nurse contract in reno.  I have a flexible schedule and looking to get out weekdays! I’ve been travel nursing around the USA for 2 yrs but settling in for awhile in co and looking to build back up a fun crew of girls to climb and adventure with! I usually jump on 12a b but after taking a break with a long winter in reno prob just need to climb and get some mileage for awhile! I’m a safe belayer and have climbed with people lighter and heavier than me I’m 120lbs, use a gri gri!
