Hello,

I will be in Denver in a couple of weeks for work and would like to do some TR soloing in the Golden area (appears to be closest climbing to downtown Denver) when I have some downtime. However, I am having trouble locating routes that I can setup a rope on without needing to lead them first. Any suggestions for some areas/routes with relatively easy TR setups? I am looking for moderate routes 5.6-low 5.10s.

Thank you!

North table.  Walk to the left or tight at the top of the trail.  Tons of routes, and there are little gullies available to climb up to reach the top to set up a TR solo.  Also lookout mtn crag is a good place for some quick solos. 30 sec approach

If you are looking for cracks the South Quarry on north table has a trail that you hike to the top, lots of anchors on top for this exact purpose. Another crag that’s less appealing but also suitable for TRS is Nightworm Pinnacle in CCC, no approach.

Cory: Is 'The Quarry Wall' on Mountain Project, the same area that you called 'South Quarry'?

Alex: I am having trouble finding 'mtn crag' on MP. Is that in 1 of the guide books?

Would either of you recommend a guide book?

Typically the S Quarry is the southern most quarry and the E Quarry is the eastern most quarry. Although they are very close together.
