I'm a Student at Miami University and plan to spend my spring break down at the red (3/19-3/26). I will be getting to the gorge on the evening of the 19th. I'm looking for a climbing partner that is confident with top rope and lead climbing and belaying. I have been climbing for just over 2 years now and am confident I can provide a safe belay for both top rope and lead, as well as anchor building/tear down. I have so far led up to 5.11b at the gorge but am looking to send harder (safely).

Hi Owen,
I live in the Cincinnati area and am debating a trip down to the Red this coming week (would arrive 3/20, leave 3/25 or 3/26). I reckon I climb a little under your level, have sent a couple 11a at the Red, 11d in gym, and V7 kilter benchmark. I'm proficient in top-rope belay, lead belay, anchor building and deconstructing. Will likely wait another day or two for more accurate weather forecast, but even with the rain this past weekend, Chocolate Factory was dry. At any rate, let me know if you'd have me and we can work out the finer details. I'm 23 (24 on the 19th) y/o M and have been climbing about as long as you with 1-2 breaks due to injury.

Cheers!

Sent you both a PM about Tues 3/21.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
