Logout issue still persisting, and I use the site pretty much every day. Issue seems exacerbated by using multiple devices (mobile phone and laptop). Every time I "switch" devices I am seemingly logged out, or maybe that's just my perception. |

Can we expect any improvements to search functionality? There are still some irritating search bugs / poor search results since the update |

A Zwrote: Improving search is and will continue to be an ongoing process. Search is a complex problem. It's one many people spend their entire career on and it's only one facet of the MP and AP projects. I'm saying that because it's an area we will continually be able to improve on, and we want to make the search experience a great one for the entire community, and for ourselves. My hope is that we are soon able to make search better than it was before and hopefully that's encouraging. You can expect improvements. RN we are working on improving the analyzer, improving suggestions as you types, as well as making the search ignore certain special characters. For instance search for spiders and spider's yield very different results, in some cases this could be ideal but in many cases it's not expected. We've also have work to do when it comes to language characters, some route names with non Latin characters(like ñ) do not perform as expected. Thanks for the report, any examples that you can give will be useful as we might be missing some pain points. |

Bug report when interactive with the forum copy field on iPhone. When adding a link inside the copy field, targeting the URL field on the popup is pretty impossible. Touch seems to be ignored unless I zoom way in on the input field to tap it. When inserting images, they always insert at the top of the copy, never where the cursor is located when I click the insert image button. |

Logout issues are noticeably better, but still very frustrating. Last night was looking at a route page that took me a while to find—went to get a snack, came back and woke up my computer from "sleep" and I had been logged out and lost the route page...very frustrating. |

Will view counts on new routes ever update again? |

Ratings on my photos still aren’t showing up in my notifications. |

Dwayne Partonwrote: Why is onX reinventing the wheel? There's a gold standard for search as far as users are concerned - Google. You either need to equal Google's capability or just contract with them to use their search engine. Spending a lot of resources on building a search engine in 2023 is not cost effective. |

The MP app on iPhones is now using your location at all times, including when the app is open in the background. In the past, it only used your location if actively using the map |

Speaking of apps, I can't get ticks to load from a route page on android |

So is “search by comments” actually gone for good? |

one thing that i have been running into (website and app) is that for certain random areas where i have climbed in the past, my stars and ratings for routes seem to have disappeared. this has happened several times in the past, but it is kind of disconcerting to see that it is still happening after all this time. |

slimwrote: It was me, I'm sorry. During the first search debacle, I did a search for, '); DROP TABLE route_ratings;-- And that really screwed things up for a few hours until I assume that got a backup live. A few ratings woulda been lost. Again my fault. |

Long Rangerwrote: I'm assuming this is sarcasm though could have happened before onX? Users should be able to search for what ever they want. That query would currently yield no results. Valerie Awrote: Working to get this cleared up ASAP |

I’m pretty sure the route pages used to condense all a user’s ticks into an expandable field if they have multiple ticks on the same route. All ticks are showing up individually now which tends to pollute the page with people who project and tick their attempts (like me). Is it possible to aggregate ticks again? |
