Ticks not loading for some climbs

Seems to be a problem with routes that have a large number of ticks. Not working on PC or Android app.

Please fix    - trying to make summer travel plans and need to see when people start ticking these alpine climbs.

I was able to replicate this. Thanks for the report, will get a fix up as soon as we can.

Thanks for the report. We're having to do quite a bit of work here and hopefully will have a fix soon. This has to do with the size of the query and the request time allowed.

This should now be resolved. It was a complete rewrite to fix, so there are some minor differences. But pages should now load regardless of the number of ticks.

Thanks so much for the fix! The bug was indeed getting annoying. Now the instant load, regardless of how many ticks a climb has, is very satisfying.

I wonder if you guys (admins/developers) can entertain a curious inquiry -- Can you guys query the MP database and show the top 20 (or whatever number you decide) routes ordered by number of Ticks, and the top 20 climbs by number of "votes"?

Oh, I noticed that a side effect of the rewrite is the long tick comments are now truncated. They used to display just fine, so it's a regression. I'll work on succinctness in the future.

Thanks for the report, we'll get a fix in for that. Great suggestion, I'll get that documented and we'll see what we can do there.

A regression from this is that users' star ratings render render incorrectly (partial stars and/or wrong number of stars) depending on screen size and name lengths.

Random climb I noticed this on. Every climb seems to be affected, but ones with fewer ratings are worse.

Thanks for the report! This should be resolved and so should the truncation of long tick comments.

Great suggestion here. I'll see if I can work something up, and try to get it on the road map.

Ticks are still not loading for me on the Android app.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
