$200-$300 is no problem.

Shoot, I'd happily pay $100+ just for a cam that will pinch down on skinnier ropes.

Actually I would do it at cost if there was interest. I love the history, I know the designer, hell I worked for them when I was in high school.

But I do need an  engineer to draft up the CAD design. Apparently any prints that exist on it are no longer supported by current technology according to Rock. Going to be a limited batch I'm thinking 10 or 20.  I have a machine shop lined up but I need a volunteer engineer.

Know anybody at wren?

I might be able to do that for u, I’ll look at what I can do

Yeah, hit me up when you got some to sell.

Hit me up before you spend any of your money on this.  Stuff cost money.  Money is expensive.

I can put down $200-300 for one.

I've been following this thread and I just learned yesterday there is a new lead rope soloing device out there called El Mudo, which seems may be not just a replacement for the Silent Partner, but an all around upgrade.

The owner is very active and responsive to feedback on Facebook in the LRS group. Here is their profile: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083121166864

I figure other people here would be interested who maybe hadn't heard of it yet.

Not trying to be a killjoy, but the Mudo kinda replaces any need for the Soloist revival, yeah? Basically works the same from what I see.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
