Outdoor climbs set in a gym

There's a cool video of Honnold doing the infamous "boulder problem" from Freerider,( climbing.com/videos/alex-ho…) I'm curious if anybody knows of any other outdoor climbs being set inside? I love the idea of my local gym setting a famous problem from the Font or Hueco. It would be cool if there was some repository of dimensions so folks could set and climb boulders they previously could only dream of visiting.

(I can already hear the crusties complaining about ruining the "purity" of outdoor ascents)

Many years ago, Rockn' n'Jammin' had a corner set to evoke Not My Cross to Bear, and it was a great gym route. Hard to believe I still remember it. Recently, Movement (nee Earthtreks) in Englewood, CO was setting problems that replicated, to some degree, famous moves on famous climbs. I remember an Action Direct homage that was way out of my league. They had little plaques explaining the homage. I thought it was cool idea, but it hasn't caught on.

If you're into projecting, they say it's good to replicate the hard moves in the gym, so why not? I'd like to see more of it. This last weekend, I climbed a two star 10a that had more interesting movement than any gym climb. I'd be very happy of route setters got more inspiration from their region's best climbs.

The company i work for Bear Creek Climbing makes a 100% real rock hold. Its not quite the same as the exact route but for a home wall its by far the best bang for your buck.

Quartzite Boulders has 3D printed a replica of The Rhino, a famous boulder from Rocklands SA. The moulded holds can even be swapped out to make the climb easier.

Holy schmoly.

As a traveling carnival/marketing setup I'm actually surprised this isn't more common.

I was in a random gym in NJ and they had a boulder set to mimic the crux of Mitosis in Rumney, and it was a pretty neat concept to me.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
