OP - consider selling some of those to me if they need repair like cleaning, trigger wires and the like. I can find good homes for them once I've worked them over; better than it all just collecting dust in your gear tub. |

I'd whip on most of those pieces for sure |

When I lived in New Paltz, bootying stuff off beginner climbs on Mondays and selling it at the annex was a legit side gig. |

Gunkiemikewrote: Yea a lot of them need this and that, most of them that i can get to work i do, but honestly most of them are manky and I wouldnt wanna sell something I don’t/wont trust myself. Its kinda a cadaver pile as i need to fix my own cams. Its kinda sentimental, its kinda a game, mostly i think i just wanna see nature when outside not other’s stuck trash. |

How is everyone finding so much booty? I've climbed at Index for 3 years, plenty of trad, and have never found a single piece. |

Tent stakes. Almost every trip to COR. I'm much more likely to be party to leaving bail biners, plus I tend to give stuff to people. You're welcome. Best, H. |

Jacob Posnerwrote: The beginner trad routes usually have something, frequently there will be a crack or feature that is just perfect for an over camed placement to be really difficult and/or the sun hits mid climb and changes crack size. Sometimes climbing a large volume of easy terrain people simply unclip and forget stuff. All of my booty is east coast with probably 80% from North Carolina. There were a few yosemite pieces but those are gone, you could make a full time living out there walking the base of valley cliffs I bet. I also have a set of tools that make removing stuck cams a breeze most of what you see was removed by brute force and thus lobes are frequently flat spotted and axles bent.

What tools do you typically use? |

My last season's score from J-Tree. 7 months on the sea. Jacob Posnerwrote: You aren't finding any because I am getting to it before you. Can't beat the Highway 2 Booty Pirate, at least not without a thong like this. |
