Looking at heading out for Fisher Chimneys with the SE ridge finish this weekend. Just curious if anyone has beta on a few things:
Are Winnie’s slide and hells highway still snow or is ice exposed yet?
Is there dry ground at the high camp above the chimneys or still all snow bivys?
What’s the probability of getting a parking spot at lake Ann trailhead arriving late Friday night / probability of finding a bivy spot or two at Lake Ann if we hike in around 10PM Friday night?
Winnie's slide was still snow with a good bootpack.
Bivies were free of snow, plenty of folks tenting up there. Good water sources at both bivy sites.
Hell's highway also still snow, with mediocre bootpack.
We got to Lake Ann TH Friday around 9:30PM and had no issue finding parking. That said the parking was jammed on our way out with day hikers. There were 2-3 good bivy spots open when we went by in early AM Saturday.

We probably passed you at some point; We camped at Lake Ann Friday night; above Winnie’s Saturday night and summited/out on Sunday! Great weather window this weekend.
