Good morning everyone from Spain.

A question about the Ropeman1. Said mechanism has an anti-lost cable, does this cable bother you?, Don't you see it as "dangerous" with the rope, possible shirt cut?, Has anyone changed it for a 2mm. cordelette?.

Many thanks.

Doesnt bother me. No its not dangerous. Doubtful anyone has exchanged with cordage but I see no reason you could not do that. Its useful to de-cam the device when needed.

Cut mine off right away, didn’t like the sawing action of the steel cable on the aluminum, replaced with cord.

Antes de que respondieran ya lo había hecho.

Brocky, you straight buried my assumption. I should have known better than to think someone had not done it before. I have shamed my family.
Most people I know with a ropeman just cut the thing off and don't replace it with anything.

You have shamed your friends too!

With this debacle, I don't know if I'll ever have friends again. Who could blame them for such an egregious act of foolishness.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
