Bugaboos / Calgary - Rental Car Alternatives?

2022-06-01 Heading to Bugs in July (2-9) coming into the region via Calgary. Rental cars are astronomically priced - any different ideas on how to get to/from trailhead parking? (Checking with ACC now for any ideas and U-Haul rental seems most economical presently).

Turo was the cheapest option in Calgary when we were looking last July. Sometimes non-Uhaul "cargo vans" are available from the standard car dealerships and are cheaper than normal cars plus you can sleep in the back. Sometimes you pay by the mile and sometimes not.

Thanks Derek.  We checked Turo as well and they're $3K for 9 days too.  Definitely leaning towards U-haul as the least expensive conventional method. We know there will be 32 others also in the Conrad Kain hut at the same time and wondering how all of them are going to make it work - it would be dreamy if we could all connect and commission a shuttle!  Or find a private driver interested in making some $ during this crazy market condition.  Really appreciate your taking the time to reply.

Some alt solution would indeed be great...it's silly to pay for a rental car to just sit at the trailhead. I wonder if you could try to find someone on craigslist or something to shuttle you? Maybe someone on here knows a calgary local who could help set that up.
