Heading up for a week long trip monday. What are the conditions like right now?

Canyon was good to go last weekend, albeit a little chilly. Lots in bloom too, pretty dang glorious. Can't imagine much has changed since then.

NOAA forecast has been unreliable. It's the desert: hot in the sun, cold in the shade.

Edit: if anyone is interested in some non-cragging let me know!

Wait what?  You need noaa to tell you that it is hot in the sun and cold in the shade in the desert?

We're that the case I'd use a semicolon instead of a period

Alright conditions are pretty solid. Some flakes have come off the rock shop and 4 blocks but overall, its pretty solid. Also, its snake season.

Well, that's no way to make friends.

I do have gear stashed if you have some time off this week. 20+ routes in 9 days and I want to keep it rolling while the weather is relatively agreeable. Unfortunately, my usual partner is unavailable for a while so I may have to do the hike of shame packing my stuff out (that is unless I find someone who wants to be friendly ;) )

Hauling out your gear - that’s no way to get a climbing partner.

I feel bad for you - why are you so mean/rude?

It’s getting hot in Uni. Managed to get in a few pitches early this morning at Wildcat. By 10am we were all getting a bit crispy.

Time to start chasing the shade.

Been chasing the shade for three weeks already.

True, but now you can’t just apply more sunscreen or throw on a sun shirt. We’re about to get into the ‘burst into flames’ season.

Wonderful. Nothing is quite a great as 110 degree weather and scalds from bolts in the sun

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
