Too hot now. Unclimbable again |

North/NW stuff in the morning would be fine. |

Corey is on the mark. Too dang hot. Rock Fitness has a good climate control system that makes for year round cragging. Give it a shot. You won't be disappointed!!! |

There's about two kiddie pools worth of snow around the coldest most shaded north and northeast aspects on the whole mountain. Good luck finding em. |

My suggestion is to never go to Tahquitz again. It is simply too hot, too cold, too icy, too rocky, and generally miserable. The approach is awful and the descent is heinous. |

Did The Uneventful Friday with the left-hand exit at the top. I was hoping to at least find enough snow in this alcove so that I could throw some snowballs down at Jim, but no such luck. However, everyone should still stay off of the north side at Tahquitz because of the totally unacceptable rock quality and the lack of cell phone service. |

Ben Crowellwrote: False. I once had a full cell phone conversation with my wife while soloing the Larks. Try Verizon. |

Greg Daviswrote: Royal robbins told me he had full service on whodunnit. Maybe you were off route? |

Greg Daviswrote: Yea, doesn't work in the corner, too much "interference". |

Rattlesnakes plaguing suicide. One climber bitten already. More to come. Unclimbable again. |

Stin Manwrote: Really? A snake bite? I've seen so many snakes but never even heard of anyone being bit. |
