Friends of Joshua Tree and the Native American Land Conservancy are co-hosting a gathering this weekend (April 8-10) to celebrate, respect, and protect indigenous cultural resources in the region, including many at Joshua Tree. There are events Friday at 5pm (tasting with Joshua Tree Distillery) and Saturday at 6pm (film, speakers, raffle) at the Joshua Tree Lake Campground, and other events Saturday and Sunday during the day. Tickets are $15 and all proceeds are split by the hosting organizations. Even if you can't make it, with the $15 donation you will be entered into an online raffle with some great prizes. Thanks everyone!!
