New Adjustable Daisy

The new skotswallgear.com Adjustable Daisy is now available to order.  It functions exactly the same as a Metolius Easy Daisy, they feature 1” tubular climb-spec webbing clip in point and uses 1” flat nylon webbing.  They have been pull tested by Yates and have a breaking strength of 2000lbs.  That’s roughly 8.5kn !

They are super light…  With webbing they come in under 3oz each.   These are ideal for climbers who leave their daisies extended and connected to their aiders as leashes and are a great addition for leashless leaders who only use daisies for jugging and body positioning at belays.  They DO NOT easily release under tension…..

It looks like I’ll be buying these. Have always used the Metolius Easy Daisies but never been a fan of their rated strength.

I used mine only a little bit last fall but I really like them. I also liked that they are full strength rated.

Just boxed your order.  They do come as singles so ordering two gets you a pair….  Thanks for the support!!

Just ordered a pair. Can't wait. I've used the metolius version for years, but the added strength of your version sold me on them. Thanks Skot!

Just used mine last weekend - really awesome and a significant improvement over the Metolius Easy Daisy, in my opinion.

Hi Skot—I am thinking about getting a pair. I know that I am not meant to bounce test with the alfifi, but I was wondering, is it advisable to bounce test with the adjustable daisies or no?

My pair delivered yesterday, and I messed with them on my carport "aid wall" for a while. They are just the right length for me, and they are lighter than I imagined they would be. They're basically the same weight of the 140cm BD traditional daisies they're replacing (according to my calibrated hands). I particularly like that the two are built precisely the same way - the stitching, the loop lengths, the heat finishing of the thread ends, the fact the girth loops are twisted in the same direction.. squeaky. Thanks a bunch, Skot. They should be interesting to use to see if I can gain a little efficiency.

Thanks for noticing the minor details.  I try to produce consistency!

I just got my order from Skot, two daisies and an Alfif. I had immediate application for the daisies, using them in an Entertainment Rigging application. I really like how they handle! I can’t wait to get them outside. The Alfifi got passed around by a bunch of Arena Riggers. They couldn’t understand what it was for, but everyone agreed that the welds are excellent. I DO know what it’s for, and that’s why I got it!
in the 80’s and 90's I ran a small custom sewing shop out of my house. I recognize what it takes to make gear like Skot does. As was pointed out, the consistency and detail is really good! People might say "it’s just a bunch of webbing, hardware and stitching.what’s the deal?" Well, there are a lot of steps to that, beginning with design and sourcing, through to making DOZENS of them. It isn’t as easy as you might think! I was set up to do it, I’m not now. Skot IS set up, has good designs, and great service. I seriously recommend Skot's Wall Gear.

Thanks Skot!

Well damn!   I don’t really know what to say.
Im glad you like the daisies, I’m really proud to add them to my product line. I’ve been working on them for several seasons.
Thanks for recognizing what it takes to make gear, it can be quite a challenge to consistently produce quality products. I spend many many hours in the shop seated at the sewing machine. Luckily my wife understands the dedication I have to making gear you guys trust to achieve big wall glory! I do not take that responsibility lightly.!!!
Thank you to everyone who has purchased from me and supported this endeavor.

It’s an honor to know you trust me and my gear..!!
