Any paperback guide books for Calaveras Domes?
Headed back home on Thursday and wanting to get to Calaveras this weekend. Wondering if there are any paperback guide books or is it just the flash pdf book? |
There is this one. But there are only two in existence and I’m not parting with mine. There is the old Hardin book, but it doesn’t have much and is increasingly hard to find. The PDF is the only one I know of. Though way out of date, it’s still the best and most comprehensive. |

The PDF guide is out of date but has surprisingly accurate topos. I’ve seen folks take it to a printer to make their own copy. |

Mike has his on MP. |

In case it helps, I just posted all the topos from my old website here on MP. https://www.mountainproject.com/area/105876771/calaveras-domes I took the liberty of starring them, to make them easier to find! Almost all of them are originally by Jay Smith, and I made a few edits, usually just to make the text more readable. Versions of a couple of them had already been posted here, but had unreadable text. If people need Will Cottrell's email address, I have one that I think is still good - just PM me. It is also on the archived version of my old website. |

If anyone has the Cottrell file and wants to help me out, I'm missing pages (printed) 43 through 50. Have no idea what happened to them, and I can't find the pdf file either. |
