Ice climbing specific packs for small framed female

Asking for a friend because I'm definitely not a small framed female lol. Looking for something in a 25-30L pack with crampon patch and modern ice tool holders, anyone out there with some beta ? |

It would be helpful to know her torso length. That said, the Mystery Ranch Scepter 35 in s/m goes down to a 15 inch torso length. |

Cold Cold World will make one bespoke for cheaper than a lot of the big companies and it's made in the US by a climber. Their work is fantastic. |

Check out the Blue Ice line of packs. They have modern tool attachment point but don't have a crampon patch but I've found it better to carry the helmet on the back [ carry net available ] and the 'poons under the lid. Better weight distribution. |

Aaron Lieblingwrote: I'd go with CCW. Or, if you can wait and have big chucksters get something from Alpine Luddites. |

Steve McGeewrote: As a small framed woman I wouldn’t go with CCW unless I was willing to get it custom made. |

|
B Swizzlewrote: Custom tailoring is why I'd recommend both CCW or Luddites. |

A couple of women specific models from Millet. |

Old post, I know..... but here's MHO anyway. I like the Deuter Guide SL series. The fit me well. I use the Guide 28 and shockcord the crampons in a pouch to the front. I tried a Blue Ice, Osprey Mutant and Mountain Equipment packs. Great packs, just not for me. Biggest issue I find with unisex packs are the shoulder straps. They are usually too far apart or the sternum strap sits way too low for my womans frame. Hope your friend found something they like that works for them. |
