A couple of weeks ago, my German correspondent Reiner sent me a photograph of a set of four very beautifully crafted anodized nuts. Reiner asked me if I was able to identify this set of unknown nuts. Unfortunately, I had to tell him that I had never seen these nuts before… There is a logo engraved on each nut but this one means nothing to me. Maybe you have seen this logo engraved somewhere on climbing gear.
I don't really know why but I have the feeling that they could have been made somewhere in an Eastern country; Czech Republic, Ukraine, Russia…??? The previous owner of these nuts lives close to Nürnberg and the well known climbing area of Frankenjura. Czech border is close so it is possible that the nuts originate from your country.
Reiner and I would be most grateful if someone here could help us to identify these nuts. He has very kindly dropped them in the post as an awesome addition to the Nuts Museum. Life is beautiful.

Back in the '80 I bought the silver and the red from some germans I met in the mountains. The nuts were made in DDR (the Democratic Germany) and as far as I remember, the model was called "Gemini"
