Works on my app, but when on computer (safari browser) I get

“Whoops, looks like something went wrong”

Same when request password resets

Sounds like poor browser testing. Sadly this is not at all surprising these days.

I get the same error as OP, logging in with my Mac, with both Safari and Firefox. I have no problems logging in using Firefox or Chrome on Windows, and also no problem using the app from iPhone.

Discussed in over-50 forum earlier today.

Started happening just b4 holiday.

Logging in via MP app worked as did logging in via Facebook for most users.

Problems are with iOS and Windows, and Android. But may vary with your config/version.

All of my Windows' browsers failed, as did switching networks, computers, phones. All browsers failed on Android for me.

FB or the app better for their, or their partners', data collection activities too ;)

Not interested in fb.

Too bad. Hope it’s fixed.

If Hell has a portal, it is through Facebook's headquarters.

When trying to log in...

"The information you're about submit is not secure"

When selecting "send anyway..."

"Whoops, looks like something went wrong"

You should probably never "send anyway". ;-)

The app isn't much better. Buggy.

Same here. I haven't put the app on my phone, just go in through the site. Using the Facebook option, but yeah, not excited about Facebook now cross pollinating with yet another thing.

Android phone.

I flagged myself, maybe someone in Onyx land will see it? There's also a posted reply somewhere from Zander, with a help form submit thing. Sheesh.

This did coincide with Amazon crashing.

H.

Edit to add, maybe if we're supposed to be in a secure website, we're being groomed to pay to play?

After dumping my cache and cookies on my Wndows browsers, Firefox and Chrome, I can no longer login with them. I’m posting this from the MP app on iPhone, where I’m continually logged in with username and password. If I log out I probably won’t be able to log back in, until this is fixed. I’d rather never again use MP than start an account on FB.

Apologies for the glitch, should be resolved now!

The homepage of the website still does not load on my computer. I have to Google Mountain Project Forum to "breakthrough" and get into the website.

I had a few days where my Mac laptop seemed to have forgotten my login and password, and when I went to enter it, it told me the "site may be unsecured", so I bailed. Tried for a few days getting the same thing. So I laid low...

Then one day it remebered my login and password, and I am back in the blissful world of the Mountain Project Forum
