Greetings!

I just completed the AMGA Rock Guide Course and would love to practice the skills I learned.

To accomplish that, I need a few things:

  1. Rock... Check. Smith Rock.
  2. Ropes... Check.
  3. Other climbing gear... Check.
  4. People to mock guide up routes... that's you!

So what will this look like?

  • It'll be just like taking out a guide except you don't pay me, I might get the ropes tangled up once or twice, and you can't sue me if I do!
  • Pretty much any multi-pitch route at Smith 5.9 and under would be fair game. Happy to discuss particular routes you may be interested in.
  • Ideally you'd come as a party of two or be open to climbing with someone else.
  • Bonus points if you're new to multipitching!

If you'd be interested in being mock guided up some routes at Smith, let me know!

Hey Taylor, I would be super interested if I can fit some days into my schedule! I am very new to outdoor climbing and just did my first multi-pitch last week. Pretty unfamiliar with most things and would be one to learn a lot and ask you lots of questions. Might have a buddy that would be open to coming, and would also be down to climb with someone else

Hey Taylor - I took the RGC about a month ago and just moved to Bend! Looking for climbing/skiing partners. Would love to meet up for some guiding practice or climbing for fun.
