I have a one-piece Gore-tex suit for sale. Made by EMS based on the Wild Things design. I used it once on Denali for two weeks, never used it after that.

Asking $225 shipped via Priority Mail. I'll include a fleece sleeveless 1 piece as well with it.

I used to work at an EMS in CT when I was a teenager. About 10 minutes before we closed, a dude walked in that did not look like our normal clientele. He was asking about one-piece Gore-Tex suits—the same exact one pictured here I believe.

He and this other guy went over to it and started talking about its colors.

Shortly after he walked in, a handful of girls walked just inside the door and were pointing and giggling. I went over to them and asked who he was. They said, “That’s Joe.” I’m like “Joe who?” And they looked at me like I was an idiot and said, “…. He’s just Joe.”

They asked me to get his autograph, but I said that he seems like a nice guy, you should go talk to him. I’m sure he’d be happy to sign autographs.

Apparently he is/was a hip-hop artist that just went by Joe and he wanted to wear the Gore-Tex suit in his performance at the Hartford Civic Center that night, but the colors “were wrong.” So he bought a headlamp and some other jacket instead.

As I was totally up the stuff he was buying Joe wasn’t standing there, but a third guy—his buddy I think—grabbed a bunch of stuff that we had near the registers and threw it on the counter and said, “Just put it on his tab; he’ll never know.”

When he paid I asked if he had any extra tickets, he looked at me, smiled and said, “You’re not into my music. You’ll probably just sell them.”
