Ortega

Went to Ortega falls for some quick top roping before work today (Th 8/12) Noticed someone had hammered the hangers flat on the main anchor spot. Might cause trouble for people expecting an easy setup, bring some extra rope or gear.

Yes the glue in bolts are still there. 

They’re fixed!

Might have been Shawn Snyder, he has been stalking highliners and messing up their bolts... ortega is a pretty popular highline spot. Those TR bolts aren't used by them though...

You’re probably right, he mentioned Ortega in his discussion with Ryan Jenks.

Update for all those in the area, the glue ins are not safe to use above dihedral!!! They have been hammered back and forth by the looks of it and hammered back upright but the weld on the right is clearly broken.

There are two bolts about 12 feet above the glueins that look bomber. If you bring 50ft cord you could probably use them for dihedral.

Also might be possible to use 2 of the 4 bolts at the other anchor facing toward dihedral, though I haven't tried yet.
