I'm still interested--but have to find a pet sitter for my kritty cat. |

Only about a month out! Yay! I've updated the front page list, it's post number two from me. If you are a question mark, please let me know, when you can! It'll get tight very quickly, for vehicles, especially with the RV policy limitations! For those in the group site, do you want to share your arrival/departure dates so others know what to expect? Soon, I will be contacting everyone, getting this pinned down, and so I can get info out to people later. Anyone want the short stretch dates, who has a tent and car? Two tents/vehicles can use that site. Your site is a hike uphill, but your parking is there with everyone else. Best, Helen |

Hi Helen, I'll be arriving 9/12 and would be fine with site 60 until the 17th. I will either be heading back or can move to the group site. |

Ken Tubbswrote: Okay! Feel free to invite someone to share. I'll be sleeping in my Honda, so we're kinda neighbors? I might be in site F or G, honestly, to make an additional parking spot for someone. Look forward to seeing you! Best, Helen |

I've been waffling about this trip for a while now, especially with the 'rejuvenated' virus situation ( even though vaccinated). However the desire to get back to The City and meet new folks seems to be winning out. I do have a few questions, though. I will likely be alone ( so far no luck in sparking interest among my friends). Is there still room in the group site? I'd be renting a car in Salt Lake (if any are available), so would also need a place to ditch the car, given the campsite car limitations, is that possible? Also are folks willing to have a lone climber tag along ---not sure how much leading I'll feel up to, but happy to belay and follow? Also, would love to join with folks to cook some nights, though can be self sufficient. Alan |

Alan Rubinwrote: I think we'll have space for another car/tent person at the group camp, or nearby. A lot of people are still question marks, after all. I'm also sure there will be people to meet up with, that's the real fun of this! And darn straight we'll be sharing some cooking, coffee....stories! Looking forward to this a lot, myself! Best, Helen |

Alan, I went to the rendezvous in June by myself, and wound up having a great time. We did a meetup at Rock City for pizza on Sunday, which was a great way for people to gather. If anyone else is interested, I could set up the same thing for the September group. Respond on this thread, that way, the enthusiasm can be gaged by everyone. |

Victor Kwrote: Don't forget, there's a group site this time, so super easy to meet there! I'm back and forth on coming over solo, or bringing my climbing partner. I don't climb close to the abilities of most all of you, and yes, that's still intimidating. Even I roll my eyes at the stupidity of that, but that's where my head goes, without a regular battle to get it back, lol! Sheesh. Anyway, with or without my local partner, I truly want to climb with whoever will have me, this trip! Best, Helen |

|
Victor - Count me in for pizza night! Helen - Hope you'll join me on some climbs, just no eye rolling when I start flailing! |
|
|
I will not be able to make the Sept. rendezvous. Wish everyone a great time! |
|
|
Jay, Bummer! Hope we can climb together down the road. |

Jamie Silliman wrote: I expect you can get partners, for sure! Dunno who is at that grade, but I expect someone (or two or three) will be! Not me, though. I can make coffee, though, and am pretty good at cheering on/admiring/heckling my betters. I'll put you on as a maybe?? ;-) H. |

All, just fyi? This is getting close to full, so if you are hoping for the Breadloaves, please pin it down and let me know soonish? Especially if you are NOT in a car/tent combo! There is still a Plan B and C available. The City of Rocks RV park in Almo still has tent sites available, and some RV. He can probably park vans at tent sites, especially if people will share. https://www.cityofrocksrv.com/ And, there is BLM land up on the Breadloaves end of COR, looks like. I'll take a look at it when I shoot over end of August. I don't mind that, just for overnight, and using our group site for a place to hang. Best, Helen EDIT TO ADD: I just talked to the Park. We can have up to 8 vehicles total, assuming they are cars and car sized "RV"s. With site 58, that means 10 vehicles parked at Breadloaves. |

Count me in. I've been worried about an 'iffy' knee and ankle, but will commit and hope that everything stays connected!!!! I would like to stay in the group site, will have a rental car. Plan to stay the full time. Alan Rubin |

Helen Jean and I will be arriving the early afternoon on the 12th and leave late afternoon on the 17th. We are staying at an RV site 33 due to our van size. Our friend Ed from the Tahoe area will be also staying with us. John |

Hi Helen I will be arriving on the 12th about midday. I will stay till the 21st. I am NOT in an RV , as your list states but in a Promaster Van. I might have a friend coming from CA but not sure. I am happy to hook up with others to climb. Jill |
|
|
Looking forward to meeting Jamie, Jean, John and Jill. We'll have a "J" old time! |

Jill Lawrencewrote: Does your van have all the passenger seats in it? Or is it converted to accomodate sleeping? The latter is the new definition of an RV. That's the rub, especially for climbers! Lotsa vans modded to sleep in, before vans to sleep in became a thing. Is your friend arriving in a van also, or a car and tent? Looking forward to it! Best, Helen |

I’m interested. Is there still space? Car+tent Probably 12th-19th |
