Think about how crazy strong women (and girls) are now, for their weight. Strength/weight ratio matters, going up a rope. It's also a CrossFit/Ninja thing now. 

You'd think there wouldn't be such a huge difference. Lillian Leitzel at 4'9" and 95 pounds was able to do over twenty dynamic one-arm pull-ups. But the evidence isn't there for rope climbing, with women taking three times a long as men on the 20 foot climb. However, they do better at a shorter climb: the 5m climb records are 4.11 sec for men and 7.67 sec for women - a little less than twice as long.  In the 100m sprint the records are close: 9.63 sec for men and 10.62 sec for women.

Parachute why'd you delete it

As climbing gym enthusiasts age we will see less wilderness climbing replaced with large outdoor venues similar to the golf course, with a series of manufactured walls progressing along a paved walkway, moving groups through the course with a food venue, pro shop, spa amenities, membership.

Is... is that not what an 'adventure park' already is? Does this vision have fewer zip lines and more auto belays? Or is it just generally classier?

Huh. Makes no sense to me, but maybe it will change down the road? Flat out arm strength I guess? Guys able to hand over hand, at that level, would probably outdo women. But, like so much else, if you drop way back from elite, girls can, and do, compete even in stuff like football. High school and 8 "man" teams definitely have some girls in the mix! 

Alex Puccio and Matt Fultz were on the same boulder problem finals in a comp here a few years back. Both nailed it, and very nicely, but looked very different even on the same moves. Two dynos in a row, horizontally, was the crux move. Enough swing to get there, without flying off. Sooo beautiful to watch!

First of all, it quite clearly states next to my name that I live in my truck, in my mom's basement. So get it right already.

Second, while we're talking about moms, yours named you 'Parachute,' enough said.

How did you get your truck in your Mom's basement? That is what you wrote. So I got it right already.

You should look up what a Parachute Adams is and think about how that applies in this situation.

I predict that Vanlife will fade, and not a moment too soon. People will figure out that a used Subaru or Honda Fit takes them everywhere they need to go and will embrace simplicity again. I've been rolling a 2007 Honda Fit for 14 years now. It will squeeze between and under stuff a van won't. I can tuck it tight in under shade trees while vans bake in the sun out in the open. You can pick one up now for about $5,000. I can think of a lot better ways to spend the money a Vanlife van would cost me. Unless you're truly living in it, why are you spending so much money on shit you don't really need? Would I live on the road in my Fit? Probably. Or if not, I'd get a mini-van.

Everyone with a van will ditch their van in favor of owning a 2007 Honda Fit.
