Where to resole 5.10 c4 rubber shoes?
Looking to get both my grandstones and pinks resoled and want the same rubber. I know they sell c4 kits but don’t know if I trust myself to do it myself. Are there placing to send them that do this? Or is it actually east and doable myself? |

They are not in your area but I had my Grandstones done with C4 at Positive Resoles in Joshua Tree. I believe the Rubber Room in Bishop has C4 too. I wouldn’t do yourself unless you are willing to accept a pretty lousy job compared to a shop doing it. You may be much more skilled than myself so go for it if you think you have the skill and tools. |

Kevin Mokracekwrote: Would you recommend positive resole? |

Mike Gagnonwrote: They did an outstanding job on my Grandstones. I’ve used them for my old style and new style Grandstones and both came out great. They do take a little while so if the Grandstones and Pinks are your only shoes I would stagger getting them done and send in your worst pair first. They are upfront about turnaround times and responsive to emails. Highly recommend them. |

Flophouse Resoles (also in the JTree area) uses C4 and does great work. Very happy with the shoes I've had done there. Pretty quick turnaround also. Do not attempt to DIY resole. Not worth it. |

Rock and Resole just did two of my shoes in C4. |

I have had good experiences with Plattsburgh Shoe Hospital. They did a great job on my Five Ten Anasazis and Quantums. It’s in the Northeast and they have C4 rubber |

Kevin Mokracekwrote: How's the line between the original midsole and new front half sole holding up? Got a pic? Mine all seem to separate partially or completely depending on the stiffness of the shoe, and since my Grandstones are softish the line totally unglued from my last resole (not from Positive Resoles). |
K Gowrote: Resole on the bottom. You can just barely see the half sole line. |

Kevin Mokracekwrote: Awesome, thanks! Recent or old resole? Any separation when you flex the shoe? I love the GS but they're already a bit softer than I like and the separating glue line doesn't help that. |
K Gowrote: Zero separation of the resole when flexing, its a pretty seamless job they do. I had these done about 3 months ago and use them about 2-3 days a week. They were a bit stiffer after the resole but are back to normal. You can get a little thicker rubber that might help with making it stiffer and last longer. |
