My friend and I popped the postage stamp on Berthoud a few years ago... both survived but one of the biggest avalanches in CO. Don't wanna talk about it... gives me PTSD you can read the info on CAIC. Colorado is a dangerous state for BC. It's no joke out there, take it seriously and have the right gear. We are alive because we followed all the right steps and had beacon shovel probe and airbag backpack.
