UP, MN or WI - weekends throughout the summer
|

I live in northern WI. Closest climbing spot is Carney Crag. Looking for someone to climb with on some weekends over the summer. I’m happy to drive south to central/southern WI, to the UP or North Shore of MN. I started climbing last summer. I’ve climbed sport and top rope. Comfortable leading a 5.9 sport route. I don’t have ropes though. |

A bunch of folks from Chicago are heading to Governor Dodge 6/4 for the weekend. Mostly bouldering, but we're bringing our ropes/draws and anchor gear to see what sport/tr stuff is out there. All the campsites are full that weekend, but we could probably fit one or two more ppl at our sites. |

Let me know the next time you are in the UP. I am based out of Marquette but would be interested in getting some local knowledge on Carney Crag! I'd be happy to drive there, Silver Mountain, or other places near Wisconsin. I comfortably lead 5.10+ on sport, and I have rope and gear. |

Any interest in devils lake? I frequently climb there, lead and top rope, and my usual partners wife is pregnant so I should probably plan for the inevitable. |

Nathan Bilthuiswrote: I have not considered devils lake in the past because I haven't had trad gear. However, I just completed my trad rack the other day. 1-10 stoppers, .3-3 C4's. I'd be interested in heading over there to lead easy trad and follow up harder climbs! |

If you never been to the lake the quartzite takes some getting used to, but it is genuinely enjoyable. Pm me if you’d like. |
