Purchased the latest guidebook Rock Climbing in Allamuchy State Park and was underwhelmed to say the least, so I'm parting with it here for free. I left an honest review about it in a lower thread and was privately belittled and mocked by the author, so I'm happy to see it go. Apparently a new climber cannot appreciate this resource and shouldn't be allowed an opinion on it, so take that into account if you're interested. I'm in North Jersey, and I'm happy to hand it off at one of the local area crags or gyms.

Last I checked, NJ isn’t exactly a climbing Mecca!

Definitely not! But the crags here are still a wonderful place for people to learn and enjoy the sport. I’m happy wherever I can spend an afternoon pulling on some rocks.  No Mecca necessary.

I'll take that off your hands. Interested to give it a look. I am close to the Hoboken Gravity Vault if that could work for ya.

Honest review? Haha! You really are a piece of work. You mocked it because it wasn't what you were looking for or to your liking. That's not an honest review. Of course I sent you a message. You mocked a pamphlet because it wasn't up to David Perez standards. A simple message would've been more professional or adult like and then you post this smh. There's always a lazy hater.

NJ has a lot of great climbing locations! Unfortunately, many are illegal but there are some really great areas like the Delaware Water Gap, High Point State Park and Allamuchy State Park that are legal for rock climbing. The glacial end moraine is in Northern NJ, so it offers some great climbing. The most recent glacier, which went down to Maryland, also left a lot of glacial erratics throughout the state so there is some really good bouldering here as well.

Can you imagine if every expert in the field and mentor acted like you? Go ahead, though, beat your chest and call me names just because this “lazy hater” didn’t worship the macaroni necklace of a guidebook you took half a decade to produce.
