The Brotherhood Of the Traveling Stopper...

Yes! Baby Yoda comes through! Resurrection is gunna come with me on a Montucky granite trip this weekend so we can get to know one another a little better ... gotta make sure ol' Res and I can trust one another on my trad. project in a week or two. :) |

It's time to start pestering the stopper holders. How about an update? |
|
|
I think they claimed it as booty. |

Any interest in a new Elanor/The Cursed One?? I just replaced main set with WC superlights and have a fistful of 'won't get fooled again' nuts... |

James Arnoldwrote: Sure, send them all to me and I'll write a trip report in a couple decades lol But seriously what's going on with these stoppers?? |

Pete S, you indicted multiple mini projects in April, plus a big project at the "end of May". We're well past that. How did those projects go? mills101 Mills, you had a trad project to tackle in "a week or two" five and a half weeks ago. What's the status? |
|

Part of the fun of this is that it's the same stopper(s) traveling around and having tons of different adventures, so replacing them is not ideal. Pete S and mills101 Mills!!! Write a TR or send the stoppers along! We can see you adding climbs to MP so we know you still exist!!! |

What's that Dr. Seus book, "Oh, the Place You'll Go!"? Or was it just a line in one of his books? Anyway ... Oh, the places Resurrection's been in the last month! All over Montana! To the Humbug Spires, Homestake Pass, Stone Hill, Point of Rocks, the Bitterroots! Ol' Res even climbed the classic Where's Jack? route up the southwest face of Little Matterhorn in Glacier National Park! I think Res came with me (and whoever I was with that took the rack of nuts for the next lead) up around 50 pitches! But, I've gotta be honest: Resurrection has only been a casual (Or passive? Get it? ...) observer throughout. :/ The stoke was always too high or the fear was too great to ignore the blue Totem on my harness to actually place the damn thing. So ... I leave for another climbing trip to Washington Pass Wednesday morning, I'd love to get it in the mail to YOU tomorrow ... or maybe Res will finally get some hot passive action in the PNW next week. :) Who's next? There's Colin on Pitch 3, “The Giggle Dihedral,” on Where's Jack?, probably choosing the blue or black Totem over Resurrection because, choss ... |

Winner! Please don't live in, like, Peru, I'm currently unemployed. :) Send me a PM. |

Andrew Krajnikwrote: I mailed that stopper to Pete back in April. If he doesn’t respond in the next couple days, I’ll email him. |
