Zion Shuttle
|

Climbing Moonlight May 13-14 and we weren't able to get shuttle tickets when they went available... Sold out faster than a rock and roll concert! The website says they will release more tickets at 5pm the day before. Does anyone have any recent experience with the shuttles and the reservation system? REALLY hoping to avoid riding a bike in!! |

If you go to the visitor's center the day before your climb, you can get a permit to drive into the canyon before shuttle service starts for the day. You have to go in person, and the permit office closes at 4:30. Source: Jack Neus (thanks Jack!), with more details in this thread on the same topic :) |

It's super hard to get the tickets at 5pm the day before. I was there a month ago and succeeded 1 of 3 days. You have to hit it at exactly 5. At 5:01, no chance. I'd do what Annie suggested if you can get there the day before. Otherwise, bring bikes. |

Early up permit for the win. go to the wilderness office at the visitor center and pass 1500 people standing in line for shuttle tickets. Just make sure to get into the canyon before the shuttle starts running (check current times, they change). Then make breakfast at big bend! Also, just bring flip flops for the walk down:) |

Wilderness permit serves as a shuttle ticket. Just did moonlight. Recommend driving. The walk down is brutal if you miss the last shuttle. |

You are all awesome! Thanks for the replies it helps put my mind at ease a bit! Last time I did a wall in Zion camp as 7 years ago and it was quite a bit easier logistically with less crowding |

I hiked angels landing in November and noticed a lot of people giving them away on All Trails reviews. |

What's next, scalpers walking around the lot holding tickets in the air? |
