Is the weather in NM as good as it looks right now?

Planning a trip to North Carolina (from Arkansas) next week, and the weather in NC looks pretty rainy (cloudy with a 30% chance every day).  Weather in Santa Fe looks perfect for the next two weeks.  no rain, 70 degrees, partly cloudy.  Am I missing something, or is this an ideal window?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

It'll be windy, and cold at nights. Climbing is super dependent on elevation, most of the stuff in the Sandias still has snow, white rock was uncomfortably warm last week.

But yeah, the weather here is generally awesome.

Weather is pretty perfect in Flag right now. I'd even let you crash in my spare bedroom a couple nights!

Dude, I was definitely going to hit you up!  I've told you I was coming and then not come too many times haha.
