Some mighty winds and apparently shitty tie downs resulted in a brand new crash pad flying out of my truck bed today heading North on Highway 99 in California.

Mad Rock Mad Pad, still in box. Some lucky bum may have swooped it by now, who knows!

Can you narrow down the area a bit? 99 is a long highway. I’ll keep an eye out on the portion I drive on my commute, but I’m likely too far south.

It’s going to be somewhere between Fresno and Merced. Not sure when I lost it! Thanks for keeping an eye out, Paul!

Did you drive North on 99 from Fresno and notice it gone by Merced? Narrowing the search area.

Were you mostly in left lane or mostly in right lane?

Approximate size and color of box?

Noticed the missing box in Merced, it’s most likely on the left side of the Northbound lanes, probably closer to Fresno. (I back tracked and checked the 20 miles or so closest to Merced)

Cardboard box, brown with orange packing tape on seams. 1.5’ x 2’ x 4’ box. Green Crashpad

thanks for the lookout!
